I will always have fond memories of Cathy. Anyone can be a neighbor but only special people also end up being friends. Please accept our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mom, I promise this will not be the last letter I write to you, but just the first one since you are now resting in heaven and finally getting to see what Jesus looks like. You said that to me more than once, that you wanted to see His face. I'm so glad that your body is resting, and you are out of the misery of the past few years, long ones for you. You have set standards for the rest of us, that most of us will fail, and that is to be as happy as you were in just everything. You always carried a happy heart and spirit. You could find joy in the littlest thing. You loved our dad like no one could ever love more. And the same for your children, you loved us and cared for us, and nurtured us to be adults and fly away. I love you deeply, as does Rich. He sure does love his Snow Princess! Rest well, your work here is done. xoxo

I remember what a great sense of humor Cathy had, I only knew her when I was at a young age, she & her family lived in our neighborhood. Cathy was a great person !

I was so saddened to hear about your mom. I have great memories of when we were all little. Your mom was like having another mom. Her ass whippings were right up there with my own mom's and I know my mom never stopped loving her. I understand she had been ill for a long time and I know how difficult that can be but I will always remember her in her late 20's-talking, laughing, visiting back and forth and, occasionally, raising a little hell in the hood. My love to you guys.
