I met Mike when I did a summer externship with the Sault Ste. Marie fire department. Mike was the nicest guy and was a true friend to me. I was a broke college kid and if I let his dog out he would leave a beer in the fridge for me. Once, my car broke down and Mike gave me a ride to the auto shop. I had no vehicle and Mike picked me up for my shifts at the department and even drove me to the grocery store. Mike helped give me confidence as a student and was very patient teaching me new skills. I am truly touched by how generous and sincere he was. Thank you for being the wonderful person you were. You will be forever missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. In such trying times we recall all the great memories shared with Mike over the years. We met through playing hockey together in the Flint area and also enjoyed many vacations(especially Myrtle Beach)and days on the golf course or just hanging out with friends. May you find peace and joy in your own memories as you say “goodbye, we’ll meet again”. R.I.P. Mike !!
