Gary Lew Gregg, 79, of Brimley, Michigan passed away Wednesday October 10, 2018 at War Memorial Hospital.  He was born February 12, 1939 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.  Gary was retired from General Motors.  He enjoyed baseball, playing cards, gambling, and listening to music.  Gary was well known for telling jokes.  Gary is survived by his wife of 57 years Milly (Shannon) Gregg, his son Gary David Gregg, and two daughters Kathy Ross (Alan Belleau) and Joni Gregg.  Also surviving Gary is his sister Laurie (Bruce) Brown.  Gary’s surviving grandchildren are Danee (Matt) Bergstrom, Nicole (Michelle) Ross of California, RJ Ross, Samantha Pender of Pennsylvania, RiverSong Warner, Orrionn Belleau, and Conika Belleau.  Gary’s surviving great grandchildren are Trysten Hyder, Adrianna Hyder, Evan Hyder, Jacob Bergstrom, Natalie Bergstrom, Jorgiamay Bergstrom, Ivan Bergstrom, Ada Ross, Cole Ross, Tehya Virta, and Xanavie Belleau.  Gary is predeceased by his parents Lois and David Gregg and baby boy Gregg.  Gary is also predeceased by his parents in law Charles and Jenny Shannon, his brothers in law Dave Shannon, Donald Shannon, and Russell Shannon, and his sisters in law Theresa Willis, and Beatrice Willis.  He is also predeceased by his best friend Skip Parish Sr.  Visitation will be Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at St. Mary’s ProCathedral.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday October 16, 2018 at 12:00pm at St. Mary’s ProCathedral with Father Sebastian Kavumkal officiating.  Burial will take place in the spring at Wilwalk Cemetery on Sugar Island, Michigan.  Online condolences may be left at www.clarkbaileynewhouse.com
