Leslie Rachele Michalski of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away Wednesday July 29, 2015 at War Memorial Hospital.  Rachele was born December 8, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan.  She enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening, biking and her dogs Gizmo and Ruby.  
Rachele is survived by her husband Dan Michalski;  children Paxton Alexander, Triston Nolan, Donald Alexander, Michael Cootware and Anne Cootware;  father Richard Leroy Holland;  siblings Regina Schumaker, Sandra Smith, Candace Hughes, Richard Holland, Carol Holland and Wendy Holland;  grandchildren Trenton, Wiingush, Myingan, Andrea, Aundrea and Kylor;  in-laws Frank Michalski, Ronald (Linda) Michalski, Darlene (Mike) Krzycki , Eva Wilson and Don (Beth) Michalski.  Predeceased by her mother Delphine Rose Holland and brother-in-law Joe Michalski.
Visitation will be 3:00pm Saturday August 1, 2015 at Niigaanaagiizhik Ceremonial Building continuing until traditional services at 10:00am Monday August 3, 2015.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow the services.  Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.clarkbaileynewhouse.com

I am so sorry to hear of Leslie's passing. I met Leslie last summer when we rode the Road to Recovery van to Petoskey for radiation treatments. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
