S. Navy and Lifetime Honorary 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife the former Mary Joan Collins whom he married June 15, 1963 in Ferndale, Michigan.  4 sons Timothy Maloney; Herbert (June) Maloney; Patrick (Susan) Maloney and Donald (Heidi) Maloney;  3 daughters Clara (Dennis) James; Alice Maloney and  Noreen (Leon) Zastrow.  Grandchildren Rita, Joanie, Tricia, Patrick, Daniel, Kaitlin, Michael, Brenna, Kathleen, Noreen, Erin, Madeline, Brock, Shannon, Thomas, Grady, Mary Kathryn,  Joseph, Jillian, Luke, Liam and Landon.  Predeceased by his parents Michael and Clara Maloney; sisters  Rosemary and Noreen; brothers Harold and Donald ‘Bud’.

Nice testament to the Dad of all my 1st cousins. I remember from McBain. And the grandchildren's names are just beautiful and Irish too. From Erin's and Brenna to Grady (we have a Grady too on our side who does he belong to?) to the classic MaryKathryn(is that Donald or Patrick's). Thanks for mentioning my Dad who died when Noreen(talking about Liam's, another great name and Irish, his mother I hope) when she was only 5. Long time ago. I remember sitting at my Dad's hospital bed at UofM hospital where all the greats go when that hospital was the old one that you entered on the 5th floor. Well Pat had been told Dad was dying(his older brother he loved) and he was 48 and he left the farm so far North and went and got Grandma Clara you've heard about and they both traveled that great distance in no doubt freezing weather all the way to Ann Arbor in the cold of February 1981. The whole trip they must have been so worried and they made it by 8pm. Dad died at 8:30. Good bye Pat.

Our condolences to the family, I have so many wonderful memories of Pat. He was a inspiration to many. I can still see the passion in his eyes when he was coaching. (Maybe the same passion we will see this fall!;))
