We are so glad that we got together again for the last several years between Colorado, South Dakota and Michigan. We had so much fun and laughs with you and Steve. My parents really enjoyed playing all the card games and having you at their place in Interlochen and making all of us laugh so hard that tears just rolled off our faces. We will never forget Steve's laugh and he will always be in our hearts.

Untimely and too soon! I'm going to miss your laugh and big bear hug. You had the best sense of humor and you will be sorely missed! I'll see you one day upstairs with NEW material, practice your euchre skills and keep the cooler full!

Jennifer, we are so very sorry and sad to hear of Steve's passing. He was my go to guy at work when I needed a friend and a hug. And of course his laugh was the best. Our prayers are with all of the Clan Maclaren.

Jennifer, Cory, Stacey, Sharon, Casey, and grandkids,

I am so sorry to hear that Steve has passed away. So awful to lose such a great guy so soon! I have many good memories of Steve and the rest of the MacLarens at many family functions with the Fabry family and others--especially the memorable Labor Day picnics. We all shared great times as kids at the Brimley beach. My condolences on your loss.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Steve's passing. I worked with Steve for many years when he was a weights and measures inspector with the MI Dept. of Agriculture, and I credit him for infecting me with his passion for hockey. At conferences and meetings, you always knew where Steve was in the room: he gathered people to him and his booming laugh was contagious. He seemed larger than life at times. My deepest condolences to his family.
