Wayne enjoyed fishing and hunting; former Vice President of Edison Sault Electric; Base Civil Engineer at Kincheloe Air Force Base and worked at Cloverland Electric.

Wife the former Charlotte Partridge whom he married July 1, 1961 at Sault Ste. Marie, MI

Sons George Mansfield of Oshkosh, WI and Donald Mansfield of Sault Ste. Marie, MI

Daughter Catherine (Gregory) LaJoie of Clearwater, MN

Sisters Barbara (Donald) Smalter of Lawrence, KS

Grandchildren Jordan LaJoie, Colton LaJoie, Brandon Mansfield and Brynn Mansfield.

PREDECEASED BY: Parents- Isabelle & Elmer Mansfield; Brother- Francis ''Bud'' Mansfield; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law= Edna & George Partridge.

Visitation: 5:00pm until 8:00pm Monday October 8, 2012 at Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am Tuesday October 9, 2012 at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church with Father Piotr Zaczynski as Celebrant.

Memorial Contributions to St. Joseph''s Catholic Church would be appreciated.

Wayne was our neighbor from 87-99 and it was a pleasure knowing him. Between him and Charlotte we learned about how to live in the U.P. GOD be with you. Jim and Karen
